Compassion
To have compassion means to listen with open ears, welcome stories without judgment, and connect so as to communicate "You are seen, and you are not alone." Compassion lies at the heart of human connection and healing.
What we do
Volunteers help raise the awareness of compassion in medicine by creating a social and emotional support system for a wide range of individuals, including seniors in assisted living facilities, families choosing hospice care, and those experiencing homelessness. Members also get the opportunity to join research seminars, volunteer workshops, and more!
